Method, examples and limits
For a/b + c/d the formula is (ad + bc)/bd; multiplication uses ac/bd and division ad/bc. Results are reduced using the greatest common divisor, with a positive denominator. 1/2 + 1/3 = 5/6. Denominators and the divisor fraction must be nonzero. BigInt arithmetic preserves exact integer results.
