PDF tools
Tools to organize and convert PDF documents.
Organise your PDF documents by starting with the operation you need. Combining files, reducing file size and changing formats are different tasks: choosing the right tool helps you prepare a document that suits your work.
Merge PDF
Merge 2–20 PDFs in selection order, up to 100 pages total. Form values are preserved with distinct names per document.
Split PDF
Split a PDF into one-page documents in a ZIP archive. Use all for every page or a range such as 1-3,5.
Extract PDF pages
Create a PDF containing only selected pages. Example: 3,1-2 preserves that order; duplicate selections are removed.
Delete PDF pages
Delete selected pages while retaining the original order of the others. At least one page must remain.
Rotate PDF
Rotate selected pages clockwise by 90, 180 or 270 degrees, in addition to any existing rotation.
Crop PDF
Crop PDF margins in millimetres relative to the unrotated page. Changes the visible area; hidden content is not deleted.
Compress PDF
Optimize a PDF losslessly by compressing streams and deduplicating objects. Returns the original if not smaller; does not resample images.
JPG and PNG to PDF
Turn up to 20 JPG, PNG or WebP images into PDF pages in selection order. Corrects EXIF orientation and uses white behind transparency.
PDF to JPG and PNG
Convert PDF pages to JPG or PNG at 72–200 DPI. One page produces an image; multiple pages produce a ZIP archive.
Fill PDF forms
Upload an AcroForm and inspect it. Fill in the displayed fields, then process again to download the PDF. Does not support XFA forms or scans.
Sign PDF
Add a drawn signature or typed name to a PDF. This is a graphical signature without a certificate or identity verification. Coordinates refer to the unrotated page.
Edit PDF
Add text to a PDF with page, position and font size controls. Does not change or delete existing text. Coordinates in millimetres on the unrotated page.
PDF to Word
Convert PDF to DOCX: editable text with simple layout, or page images preserving appearance. Scanned text requires OCR first.
Word to PDF
Convert Word DOCX documents to PDF in an isolated process. Macros disabled and no network; missing fonts can affect layout.
PDF to Excel
Extract PDF tables to Excel XLSX, one sheet per table. Detect borders or text alignment. Scans require OCR first.
PDF OCR
Make a scanned PDF searchable with local OCR in five languages. Up to 20 selected pages; output includes only those pages. Check recognized text.
PDF to PowerPoint
Convert PDF pages to PowerPoint PPTX, one page image per slide. Preserves appearance; text inside images is not editable.
PowerPoint to PDF
Convert PowerPoint PPTX presentations to static PDFs. Animations and transitions do not play; available fonts can affect appearance.
Number PDF pages
Number selected PDF pages from your chosen starting number. Numbers are centered at the bottom of the unrotated page without removing content.
Protect and unlock PDF
Protect PDFs with AES-256 or remove encryption using the correct password. Does not recover forgotten passwords. Keep the new password somewhere safe.
Choose the right operation
Merge PDF brings multiple documents into one file and lets you establish their sequence. It is useful for attachments, study materials and documents that need to be submitted together.
Compression works on file size; conversion changes the format. This category lists the available tools, each with a page explaining its options, instructions and examples.
Before working on a PDF
Keep a copy of your original documents. Check that files open correctly and review page orientation and order.
If a document contains digital signatures, forms or confidential information, check the tool requirements first. Changes can affect signature validity and the behaviour of interactive elements.
Frequently asked questions
Are merging and compressing a PDF the same thing?
