Method, examples and limits
Dates are calculated in UTC without daylight-saving effects. January 1 to January 2 gives 1 day, or 2 with both endpoints included. Identical dates give 0 or 1 respectively. Leap years are included. Displayed hours equal days × 24; they are not elapsed hours between local timestamps.
